Welcome to the Park at Van Nuys.
The Park will be a Premier Aviation Community catering specifically to Propeller Aircraft Operators at the World's busiest General Aviation Airport. The project is being built on approximately 30 acres located at the northwest corner of the Van Nuys Airport and will provide Hangars, Tie-downs and Office Facilities for up to approximatley 270 Propeller aircraft and related businesses. There will be approximately 115 newly constructed hangars ranging from 42' x 35' up to 100' x 160'. We will be welcoming approximately 50-65 grandfathered, owner occupied hangars which will relocate for the final time onto a 30 year locked in spot at Van Nuys Airport. A General Aivation Executive Terminal Building will sit at the old entrance of the Air National Guard and will include a Restaurant, Flight Shop, Rental Car Services, Full Service FBO, and Full Service/ Self Service Fuel Amenities. There will also be about 55-60 Tie-downs and over 30 of our hangars will have offices for aviation related businesses to find a home within The Park VNY. With over 375,000 sq. ft. of hangars and related support structures, there will be plenty of room to find a home at The Park VNY.
We expect to start construction in 2011. Once construction begins, we expect that the relocation and first series of Hangars will be done within 6 months, Relocating hangars in less than 6 months.
